Due to illness, Hugh Hopper has had to cancel all engagements, including his solo gigs. He is strong in spirit, with great support from family & friends, & we all pray he makes a full recovery. A Hugh Hopper Benefit/Donations concert has been arranged, with all profits going to Hugh. The Concert will be held at the 100 Club Oxford Street London 14th December 2008. Obviously, brownieboy. Very good point. America can be used to wipe the floor with as compared to England in music quality... Even if America DOES have some good bands, they get trodden into the dust by the Disney-ekcetra-posers and "music artists" dependent on auto-tuner to produe albums...

Those bands all sound very British, apart from the Foos. They just happen to be popular with people who identify as loving British music.

Correct. I've not listed them under the 'Music Connections' section for this group, however they are obviously quite popular bands amongst some group members. This means that they may appear under 'Top Artists' from time to time if they are listened to by a large proportion of group members - something I have no control over.
