Roy new album Songs of Love & Loss 2CD September 27, 2011. My love songs are often hidden by the more epic things I attempt. It's been a long time ambition of mine to gather a dynamic mix of them together in just their own context. It was a rewarding labour of love for me! The two albums presented here contain songs specially selected from their original records and digitally re-mastered to work as two dynamically unique albums in their own right. We've added a digital booklet including notes, lyrics and photos. Hope you enjoy it. roy

Hi, just joined. Been fan of Roy since early seventies; own most if not all his officially released work. Seen him once: in Paradiso Amsterdam during his Bullinamingvase tour. Agree with 'Bullinamingvase' here about Jugula. Page contributes to Jugula a bit like he contributed to Stormcock. It's a Harper album.

Thanks for that interview. The Pop Matters one on Roy's artist page is also well worth reading. Disappointed (but not surprised!) to find he's from the other (Blue) half of Manchester though... ;)

wow,a Roy Harper group, nice to see Harper fans still out there. Long-time fan, seen Roy (with Nick usually) for 20+ years, last time in Ireland, great weekend. Shame hes retired from touring, but i guess time is catching up. I'm also really into Nicks music too.

Hello to all my fellow “Harpics”. Living in England I have had the pleasure of seeing Roy many times from the early 1970’s right up to last tour of the UK. When Roy played the Lowery Theatre in Manchester. Roy has now retired from touring and I will miss the man relating his tales, views and rants from the stage. Shine on you crazy diamond.

Hope you get to read this Roy - many thanks for all the years of great music and unwavering principles. Among the times I've seen you in concert, favourites were at the now closed Larry's Hideaway in Toronto, where the sheer power of one voice and one guitar really blew me away, and another Toronto date, possibly the dearly-departed Ultrasound Show Bar, with Jeff Martin.
