Rotten Sound is a Finnish band, formed in 1993.

Rotten Sound plays music much in the same vein as Napalm Death and Extreme Noise Terror, lyrically attacking social issues such as greed, conformity, and racism. The band has been praised mostly for its ferocity and relentlessness.

Lastnight in NYC at the Carcass Reunion show Rotten Sound were flawless. They are the new Kings of grindcore. I've been into them since "Under Pressure" and they get better with each album. Their newest "Cycles" is my candidate for album of 2008 and Rotten Sound band of 2008. I have nothing but praise for these guys. Anyone else at the show in NYC lastnight Sept. 6th?
