    Turns out it was a corrupt config file (which apparently wasn't being deleted on uninstall?). Works fine now.

    @rabidaudio, what errors?

    Has anyone gotten QL running on 64 bit Windows? I love QL so much that I want to use it on my Win7 rig too, but the regular windows install package doesn't work for me. I've played with the source before in Linux, so I tried building it from source in Windows and got a bunch of errors, but then again, my Windows programming experience is essentially null.

    @syntax_error: thanks for that man. I was running on 2.2.1, and it wasn't there. Just upgraded to 2.3 and loving it.

    flame_leaf: I believe you can change this behaviour in Music > Preferences > "Library" tab > Enable human title case. At least in QL 2.3. I personally prefer the "human title case", since it's MusicBrainz style.

    I've got a question. Older versions of QL, when tagging based on filename, could capitalize the first letter of every word. This was a very handy feature when fixing the title tags, but more recently it's been modified to keep words like: the, and, or, you, etc... in lowercase. This is incredibly annoying. Any way to set it back?

    Using QL is like flirting with a competent media player when in linux.

    Using QL is like flirting with ubuntu also when in windows.

    HonP: as syntax_error pointed out, it's very do-able in the Paned Browser view mode. What you can also do is modify the preferences in Album List so that it only shows the tags you want. You can have it display any tag you put into the file, as far as I know, but it will still split the entires into different albums while in Album List view.

    HonP: Depends on where do you want to. In case of Paned Browser (with artist in one column and album in the second and the tracks list in lower half) it's a piece of cake: click the preferences button right to the Select All / under the album thumbnail and choose your columns. You can check for you activated type of browser in View menu.

    I would like to have Artist list instead of Album list. Is it possible?

    I'm totally loving the new and improved version of the album list view in version 2.2.1. And just when I thought QL couldn't get any better.

    BTW, Artist pattern in QLscrobbler settings - just hold cursor for a while on a field to get explanation. It's used to format artist's name for submission (you can use different tag, or add some more etc.). Same with Title pattern. Usually you don't need this, still it's a great feature you will hardly find in any other player...

    QL working perfectly, as always. (Why is the QL first-launch window so fugly?)

    No luck with scrobbling. WTF does "Artist pattern" in the AS plugin dialog even mean? Docs? Hello?

    Big fan. Fast. Painless. Doesn't get in the way. Gripes are small (ratings -- ugh). Hope it becomes the foobar2000 for Linux.

    Ichise: Try the latest Quod Libet 2.2 and new plugin pack. QLScrobbler plugin was improved, now it supports even "Now Playing" notifications.

    Bah, audioscrobbler plugin isn't working for me again. It's been about a month since it's scrobbled anything to my profile.

    monofluor: Current QLscrobbler plugin can't do that (due to current plugin architecture, it would need yet songsmenu plugin to add this functionality, I guess). You can love song on Last.fm website, e. g. in your profile.
