  I stayed home from Uni today promising myself that I would finish my philosophy essay which is due tomorrow. It's now 8:19pm and I've only written an additional 200 words and I'm listening to Joni Mitchell... I will do it in a minute when this song finishes... honestly.

  i tend to think of myself as a perfectionist that's overshot the mark. if something isn't going to get done perfectly, it's better to not even start. or, at least, not start until you're totally prepared. which i never am.
