  I love OMD. I have since I first heard "So In Love" and I loved it so much that my mom finally yelled at me to listen to the song all the way through because I had been obsessively listening to only the beginning. That was my intro to them and when I was 15 (clearly, I'm American! ;+) ), I bought the Best of and I obsessively listened to *that*. In the span of the next year and a half, I had everything I could get my hands on--with 'Architecture and Morality' being the hardest piece for me to find--and I've never looked back. They sing/play my soul. Twice last year, my husband took me to see them. Once for my birthday and once for our anniversary. I even got to shake hands with Andy, which really made the evening spectacular--and it was already a spectacular evening.

  The best band of the early 80's. I love the Avante Garde stuff such as Stanlow, statues, Romance of the Telescope etc. I have a 30 track playlist on the IPad ...... All the experimental stuff......I listened to it every night for months, in ear phones - music on, fall asleep...... Brill. The new album is a real return to form....even though it is bigger, bolder, better produced and without the analogue synths of the old days .... It is nonetheless brilliant. Keep em coming lads.
