I learned about him by accident. And the state I was in helped me appreciate the music more :)

Glad to see Karsh Kale added to the connections. I have a TON of Indian stuff that would fit into the post-traditional category that I will add to the suggestion list.

I wouldn't imagine TV on the Radio fits the scope of this group. I love the band, but can't see how they fit.

I recommend the "Sons da Paraíba" album by Cabruêra. It's the most post-traditional, I believe

Well, so let me suggest two Brazilian bands that you might consider Post-Traditional: Cabruêra and Chico Correa & Electronic Band - jazz / electronica / rock with Northeastern Brazil folk music. They're fucking great, and Cabruêra live is fucking greater

traditional music from a modern prism. Pop / Rock / Electronica bands that incorporate traditional elements from their native and international music. And no its not similar to (american) folk music (explosion of late).

folk rocks the world, though I don't believe it has anything to do with this group. btw what exactly do you mean with post-traditional music? I might even join this
