List of media player supporting Pocket Scrobbler

  • List of media player supporting Pocket Scrobbler

Like the official last.fm client for desktop systems, Pocket Scrobbler can be used with a variety of media player.

    Compatible player on Pocket PC:
    • Windows Media Player 10 Mobile (on Windows Mobile 5 or later)
    • TCPMP (with modifications implemented by der_Karl)
    • MortPlayer (v3.31 b69 [RC8.1] or later)
    • HTC Audiomanager (users of HTC TouchFlo 3D, aka "Manila" on devices like HTC Touch Diamond/XDA Diamond/MDA compact IV should read this)

On smartphones, Windows Media Player 10 Mobile (on Windows Mobile 5 or later) is the only player you can use with Pocket Scrobbler at the moment.

If you are a developer and need more information on implementing Pocket Scrobbler support in your application, feel free to contact me (picaresque_).

If you know of an application supporting Pocket Scrobbler, which is not listed here, please let us know by posting in this thread. Thanks!

    Media Players

Does this program support Windows Media Player version 9?

Unfortunately, neither WMP 9 nor WMP 10 on Windows Mobile 2003 support the interfaces necessary for using Pocket Scrobbler. Please consider using one of the other media players listed above.

  • PocketMusic

PocketMind's PocketMusic, its a good player and is fairly finger friendly.

    There's no place like 127.0.0.1...

As far as I know, Nitrogen is already compatible to the current version of Pocket Scrobbler.

I use the NitrogenV1.1, it cannot be Scrobble automatically. But WMP is work fine.

Is that I should pick up in the different option in the "Media player interfaces", to make the Nitrogen work?

No, but you have to enable "Write current song info on registry" in Nitrogen. See this posting.

    Slide 2 Play

im not developing that Slide 2 Play program or im not involved in any part of making/promoting it, but i am a huge fun of it and that's my primary player under Windows Mobile 6. its a really easy/finger friendly/cool tool. it integrates great with my device and also Slide2Unlock (lockin/unlockin tool). they both look very iPone'ish (while i hate apple products i must admit some solutions and designs of both devices and their software are great).
Would be really great if Pocket Scrobbler could work with that program/or if S2P would work with P.Scrobble ;)
Windows Player Mobile is rubbish. trust me, once you will try S2P u will regret every second of listening music through WMP.
    Slide2Play
well but as my fav player aint supported im forced to turn back to WMP as i want my music to be scrobbled. at least i got customised iPonieish skin for it ; ) (and i am a real iPhone hatter :D )
greeting and keep up the great job picaresque_ !! :)

  • As Spotify has just been released for Windows Mobile it would be great if pocket scobbler could pick up tracks from that

  • agree with jasonplant!

I dont know (tried, but unsucesfully), but if you want it just becaus of "WoW HD", there is maybe another solution - something like this. But again I didn't tried it personally, I am satisfied with S2P and normal output (for Koss Porta PRO it is enough bassy).

  • Doesn't work with tcpmp (with edited interface.plg). Time count always stay at 1:00 and not going down :(

  • Hi !
I tried Nitrogen on my Windows Phone but it did not work, so I've searched around and around on Internet and finally I've found a modded version fully compatible with Pocket Scrobbler.
Here is a version that I've uploaded on Megaupload and my public dropbox.

    Keep scrobbling guys :) !

Is this list is still valid (#1)? You can ask for an update?
