  • Very saddening indeed. Last.fm has one of the best-tagged music databases on the planet. It's an astronomical shame if they're shutting down multi-tag. :(

    Boo

  • If they're not going to fix it, they should at least remove the link from http://playground.last.fm/. But I'd really like it if they fixed it. ♥

    last.fm#DIV(class=messageSig)
  • wasted opportunity

    klbostee said in some thread almost 1.5 years ago it was planned to bring the search back ... Well, last.fm didn't even accomplish to remove the link to the dead feature.
    If the multi-tag radio and the multi-tag recommendation search are still working then it is absolutely possible to (re)implement such a feature no matter what changes last.fm had in the last years.
    Without that option so much potential of last.fm's pretty big tag db is lost.

  • This feature is an extremely useful one, and I can't imagine why they would have discontinued it. Maybe a staff member can comment on it? *wishful thinking*

  • and I thought it was because my internet or browser is not working.
    so this gives me absolute desperation, poor abandoned tool.

  • I always though it was odd that this wasn't a main search feature, but instead was relegated to some sad, out-of-the-way corner of the site that few people knew about. The idea that it's been deleted completely is just absurd.

    It would be totally awesome if some staff member could respond. Not that I'm holding my breath or anything, lord knows.

    Nice one, monoversal! Here's a quick link. Just change the tags I searched for to whatever you want:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=site:last.fm%2Fmusic+intitle%3A"tags+for"+"filipino"+"punk";

    You can also subtract tags like this:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=site:last.fm%2Fmusic+intitle%3A"tags+for"+"filipino"+"punk"+-"hardcore";
