People with no mobile phone

No longer have a cell phone? Never had one? This is your group! Believe it or not, there is people like you! (or I hope so)

Some of the reasons to decide not to own a mobile phone:

-They are the perfect mean to receive SPAM. Anywhere, anytime
-Just never cared enough to get one
-Don't like to feel dependent of something that always must think about, answering SMSs, keeping it with battery and credit, looking for coverage, turning off at night or at moments that can anoy to other people, wearing it, where did I left it?, what do I do if it brokens and for example contacts list erases?, etc
-You use house phone, and it is cheaper than a mobile phone (in some countries free) so why using a mobile one?
-They are a major cause of fatal traffic accidents. Also a distraction for much other tasks as cycling, walking (you could be knocked down), etc. There is a good reason because its use is forbidden for much high risk works
-All your friends have one, so can request one a moment once in a while if you need it
-You are Anti-Social
-Can't afford buying one
-Can afford buying one but they are expensive anyway
-Used to talk too much, so the bill is also expensive
-Lots of phone companies are abusive, some take more money from you than they should, either with the small print, or even faking call times or number of calls at a bill. Cell phone companies have the higher insatisfaction rates with most complains by customers.

-Less privacy even to not mobile phone users: Tiny phone built-in cameras being used to record secretly at beach, locker room facilities, public restrooms and swimming pools. Maybe there is top-less photos of you somewhere on the net.
-People around glued to their cellphones - whether on their ear or just fidgeting with them - like a flock of sheep, and you don't like it
-You are detoxifying from your addiction to mobile phones
-Want to feel free in some moments. Fully independent from the world around you. Feel lost, alone, absent, not reachable by other people
-You don't want to carry stuff in your pockets, or carry only the necessary
-You know that manufacturers make them in a way that they last only few years (battery life, broken stick, fragile screen, or any other random error) so they sell better because you must purchase a new one but disagree with this policy
-At the end of produt life, most electronic components are not recyclable, or users don't even care about recycling them so some go to landfill and cause damage to environment. Cell phones are considered hazardous waste, if they are wasted with battery, only this part may pollute thousands of water liters. -They are a major cause of enviromental impact not only as waste but also due required energy and pollution produced in manufacture, obtaining and shipping raw material, transporting the finished product to end stores, sending them at the end of product life to electronic waste processing areas in countries like China and India (for example 80% of electronic waste produced in United States is sent to Shantou region of China, and Delhi and Bangalora in India), heavy metals used, toxic components, yet nowadays lots of phone bills printed in paper, etc

-The geographical location of a mobile phone can be determined easily (whether it is being used or not), using a technique known multilateration to calculate the differences in time for a signal to travel from the cell phone to each of several cell towers near the owner of the phone. So you could be tracked through mobile phones by anyone.

-In the same way, mobile phones can be used as a harassment tool, if not reaching the freak limit of location tracking, receiving annoying messages or lots of calls by some stupid loser even with private numbers
-Besides location tracking, also conversation can be listened and recorded and you don't like it, not only due privacy but also thirds having that much power over everybody. CIA, MI5 and the rest of Echelon can listen and track the mobile user just as if they were a criminal with an electronic leg bracelet and a jacket full of microphones.

-SIM cards could be used by criminals and terrorists. Mobile phones can be used as bombs.

-Spyware developed for cell phones, virus threats received through SMSs, calls you never should catch or reply that will charge an exagerated fee. Your phone may wreck, but worst is your data is not safe, not even your money!
-The need to get a mobile antivirus program to feel more secure. To sum up, another not necessary headache!
-You think that electromagnetic radiations of mobile phones (radiofrequency) causes Cancer.

-You don't feel them as products that satisfy a need, always can reach a telephone box/booth everywhere if need to call someone
-Or on the other hand it's phasing out payphones because "everyone has a cell phone now". What about if there is an emergency but you forgot it or battery of your mobile phone dies? Where are the payphones then?
-SMS short writting damages your writting skills whatever language you are using to write
-Prefer to speak someone directly, be with people for real than contacting through phone calls and SMSs
-The time required to write/reply messages etc distances oneself from real family
-They are an element of social disparity: At schools some little kids already owning a mobile phone and other ignorant kids wanting one or feeling inferior just because they parents couldn't purchase him everything or even getting angry with them because they don't want to do it. To sum up, mobile phones becoming factories of posh kids.
-The same but applied to us, older boys: Other product that seems necessary to be part of this society. Incites consumerism.
-At some places as schools, phones used for bullying as video recorders of aggressions not only to other boys but even to teachers

-Other reasons some schools set restrictions on the use of mobile phones like the use of cell phones for cheating on tests or as a distraction in class.
-Child predators have taken advantage of cell phones to secretly communicate with children without the knowledge of their parents or teachers.

-Mobile phones used for other bad purposes. A study by Motorola found that one in ten cell phone subscribers have a second phone that often is kept secret from other family members. These phones may be used to engage in activities including extramarital affairs or clandestine business dealings.

-You hate to stop whatever you are doing to answer it
-You just want to be different than other people. Yet more freak than them
-You forgot it somewhere and can't find it. They are so small!
-They are a major mean for gossip :P
-You don't like sound quality of phone speakers. Listening music with them is an offense for your ears
-You developed a hate towards phones after the stupid tones that cuts the best moment of a film, a peaceful nap, an interesting Maths class, a sermon at mass, or whatever you are doing in any moment. Even a long sleep during night just because someone get wrong with the phone number, you have some tacky jokester friend, or someone is hounding you.
-You hate mobile phones with no reason
