For some reason I thought people who like Tom Waits weren't dumb enough to join groups like this. Whoops!

I love this group because I am also fourteen years old and place all of my self-worth in some ridiculous concept of musical 'tribes'! Also, I am vaguely racist!

Not all rap is crap. It's not all P Diddy and 50 Cent. Try some Mos Def.

Hi, I'm the new leader of this group. The direct link between this group and the one of Anti-Socialism will be removed. That doesn't mean that you shoudn't visit that group anymore, even if you are a 'socialist'.

The message of this group is righteous. If only the charts were a bit better.

The message of this group is righteous. If only more people thought like this.

I really don't see the linkbetween rap and socialism, and I don't think there's anything wrong with this last one.

This group is a joke. I hate rap to the bones but I fail to see the connection between rap and socialism. If you mean anti-socialism as in taking away universal health care and social welfare programs and replace it with unbridled capitalism, you should limit the participation of this group to greedy corporate American Republicans!

This alleged connection between Rap and Socialism... you came up with a few examples, I wouldn't say that means Rap and Socialism are connected. Perhaps if you argued that most rappers are from a 'working class' background, and are therefore likely to be socialists...

I agree, Bono is the archetypical marxist: grabbing money in the name of the greater good

Rap and socialism are related? Give me a break, there are more commie-liberals, anti-meat eaters, tree huggers and totalitarians among black and death metal fans than those who listen to rap. I'm sure Ayn Rand herself would have approved of the Rza's capitalist endeavors. If there's a real Marxist out there, that would be Bono.
