Oval has been founded by Markus Popp, Sebastian Oschatz, Frank Metzger in Darmstadt, Germany in 1991. In 1993 they released their debut "Wohnton" (with vocals!). After their third release "94 Diskont" (1996) they splitted.
Nowadays Oval is Markus Popp only, whereas Frank Metzger works as Oval/Frank Metzger.
