Orri Páll Dýrason plays drums for Sigur Rós and is quite possibly one of the coolest people alive.

Orri Páll Dýrason (born on the fourth of July 1977) is the drummer for Sigur Rós. He joined the band in 1999, shortly after the recording of the studio album Ágætis byrjun. He married Lukka Sigurðardóttir in Hawaii in 2005. He has a daughter from a prior relationship, whose name is Vaka. The first track from the ( ) album was named after her. Orri and his wife live in the outskirts of Mosfellsbær, which is not far from Reykjavík and is in walking range of Sigur Rós' studio, Sundlaugin. Lukka along with Jónsi Birgisson's boyfriend, Alex Somers (from Parachutes), form the Toothfaeries who make the official hand-made merchandise for Sigur Rós.
