Quick suggestion: Narcotic Noise. Especially listen to Sarcophagus Symphony: http://www.archive.org/details/NarcoticNoise-2008-SarcophagusSymphony. More of their music is on the Haunted Klinik netlabel: http://haunted-klinik.110mb.com/catalog.htm.

Another suggestion: Wraithverge-- really well done neoclassical, with the emphasis more on the "classical" ;-)

    MySpace: www.myspace.com/wraithvergekills
Album "Inimicos" is a free download here. They also have a pair of EPs you can download from their MySpace journal. Some is a bit uneven, but their 30 min + epic piece, "No Mercy for the Wicked," is magnificent until the too-abrupt end.

Before I add a long list of suggestions I'd like to know if Russian, Swedish, Norwegian and Spanish artists would be acceptable. I know of a good number of Dark Fantasy / Tolkienesque bands from these countries, but most of them perform in their native tongues.

  • Sure Nyarlothep. No country is forbidden and as both the radio and the label is swedish it should of course be no problem with swedish acts. Zmei Gorinich is from russia and so´s Dimitrij Volsoj whom we have released on our compilations before. Norway we have also had an artist from.
    We have had artists from:

Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, England, USA, Canada, Russia, Switzerland, italy, France and New Zeeland.
I am probably forgetting some country.

With other words: the country from where the artist is from is not important. The music and the visions are whats important. So, please share your list.

Quick rec: Mirekemen -- so-called "pagan ambient," whatever that means ;-)
    www.myspace.com/mirekemen

She did a split with Kalt See, a not-quite-as-good, but generally ok band. Her half is excellent: http://www.epiphoraproductions.fr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=191&Itemid=234. Note, it's a big bear to get authorization to download, but it can be done.

  • I see lyzzrd. I like some of the melodies and the thought behind the music but the sounds/instruments are not really up to par. Maybe it could evolve.

  • Some Suggestions

This thread is a little dormant. Hope this concept is still alive.

Many of your previous artists (Tincolindo, Sean Beeson, Erdenstern, etc.) continue to grow and put out great stuff, and I can always stand more of that stuff. That said, here are a few other up-and-coming artists that aren't getting the attention they deserve:
