For all misanthropic philanthropes, realists, and all people who think reality is a harsh place, and the laws of physics be a mischievous mistress, but there this is no reason to let it get you down.

Aren't we all egotistic bastards? But of course we are!

Isn't this world a shithole full of these very same egotistic bastards? Indeed!

Isn't morality a farce, a mistake at best, and all societies so far full of essential faults? Quite so!

But hey, if you think about it: Being egotistic and wanting a better life, doesn't mean you have to make others' lifes worse. In fact: Imagine a culture in which the benefit of one is the benefit of all! There you could be an egotistic bastard, and people would call you the messiah if you are the biggest bastard of them all! It is morality that teaches us we'd have to give up ourselves, but it is morality that has to give up itself, and society that has to change.

So let us rejoice, for egotism and Nihilism are in fact the very soil for an illustrous Utopia!

(Some cynicism and irony applied. Diogenes probably wouldn't think highly of this group - but he will never know for his barrel/tub hasn't got an internet connection.)
