For age 50 and older. Are you tired of hanging around with people who think music ended with the Beatles? Are you tired of younger folks who think music started with Nirvana? Do you like the old...

For music lovers 50 and older.

But we will accept music lovers at 40 and over.

Please state your age when joining. Anyone younger than forty will be removed. You don't want to hang around us old farts anyways, really?

"I'm amazed at how many kid in there teens and early 20's are really into the 60's What's up with that?" Im one of those that love that kind of music but; "but there is a lot of great music being made right now; and, just as before, much of it is not on mainstream commercial radio."

I hate it that so many younger people think that they were "born too late" for great music, that the era of Hendrix, The Doors, Cream, The Who, etc., was the end-all/be-all of great contemporary music. I agree that it was a great era for music, but there is a lot of great music being made right now; and, just as before, much of it is not on mainstream commercial radio.

You might have noticed that I kicked out the under 40s. If you were kicked please don't take it personal. Some of you, like Icescream_cola, are really cool. I just want to keep the group in a particular age slot in order to keep the charts relevant. You are welcome to post on the forum and give a shout out.

I could ask the same about you, Icesscream_cola:0. NIN is great and the fact that their last album is free probably got a lot of us old folks paying attention.

I agree with KarenRocha...! I'm not even near 40, but I still might feel as it :P or something in that style. But I guess I'll just have to go and kill myself, it's your fault!

I read some of it. Mostly wildly exaggerated I'd say, but not without some truth to it. I love the beatles, in spite of any of these complaints, but I was never a beatle-maniac. He goes way to far in trying to make them sound evil, lol. Hey, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, baby...truest thing then, now and ALWAYS and FOREVER.

It's nice to see Sade on the group's Top Artists chart this week (ending 2 Sep 2007). She almost seems out of place with the other artists on the group chart, but she is a great artist.
