There are many bands named Outrage.
But,Japanese Outrage is most outrageous !!

日本が世界に誇るThrash Metalバンド「Outrage」をこよなく愛する大馬鹿さん(©:丹下眞也)達のグループ。

Non-Japanese metalheadz are also welcome.:=)

Japanese thrash metal-band Outrage were formed in the early 80’s by Yosuke Abe (guitars), Yoshihiro Yasui (bass), and Tange Shinya (drums). They’ve led the Japanese rock and heavy music scene for 20 years and still with their energetic releases and live shows. Their roaring stoner influenced sound strikes you straight from Nagoya, Japan; the city of historical war spirit. In 2007, Naoki Hashimoto (vocals), who had left the band in 1999, was asked by members to play together on stage for their 20th Anniverssary shows (with a Japanese veteran metal act Anthem in supporting) and decided to tag with them again temporally for the memorial gigs. Then in Sep., they played in front of their dedicated fans, who had dreamt of seeing 4-piece Outrage once again. Without a doubt, these shows turned out big success along with yet another intense performance in a big extreme music festival called ‘Loud Park’. The lineups for this fest included some worldwide artists such as Heaven & Hell, Saxon, and Marilyn Manson.
Then, in Feb. 8 2008, the band confirmed they officially welcomed Naoki back into the fold. Currently they have just released the long awaited new record titled “Outrage” on Nov 2009 through one of the Japanese major record companies, JVC.

@Carbonized I attended their gig yesterday,where Naoki talked that the new work would be released next year.:( They also played the new song,which was not that kind of old school thrash, rather than Power Metal stuff.

Starting in the fall and release next year (you're more than likely right)? :( So far away! Oh well, I STILL need to find Nagoya Noise Pollution Orchestra. Hopefully I can find it while we wait for the new album...

Upcoming event has been announced.http://www.last.fm/event/3105553+Outrage+at+Huck+Finn+on+11+February+2012 They are gonna play some gigs for the 25th anniversary next year.

Haha, Scorpions cover band? Sounds super! I love Scorpions :) I wish they get a lot fun and play more gigs. Especially on next years september-october...

While the group have no upcoming events ,nor new songs,Shinya seem to start the other band named Nagoya Tapes( the cover band of Scorpions).http://koh.heavy.jp/?p=4261 This is ,of course,not the permanent band,seems to play the few gigs only.

I listen to tons of stuff all at once. Music is on shuffle so I get a good mixture most of the time :D Of course you'll be back :P

Sorry,I've not listened to Outrage for a few weeks.XP Coz,I have kind of listened to other genres;from J-rock to Acid Jazz stuff recently.lol However,that doesn't mean that I lost interests in them.I just wanna enjoy all genres of music.So,I'll be back soon.:) Keep on Rockin' ,mates!!

Haha yeah, I looked at the blog and tried to run it through a translator .... It didn't help much :P Awesome that they are getting ready for a new one :D You're right, I'm sure they will wait to put it out next year. I doubt they would want to rush it to make this year since they are just getting ready start work. Awesome news anyway :D Thank you for the information!

Well,Shinya updated the blog,where he said that Outrage was about to work for the next album.Releasing the album within this year might be much difficult,I think.2012 is their 25th anniversary,so I kind of hope that we can listen to their new work next year.

Ugh, I wish they had been able to put out the movie on Blu-ray too :( I want it but, I'm not buying DVDs any more! If they come with a CD, that's fine, otherwise, no. Speaking of... I did finally order the deluxe version of the 2009 album with the new song + DVD since it was on sale at CDJapan also because the version of Dial 'A' that I bought on Japan iTunes is DRM/copy protected >:( On the Japan site too.
