Of course, i love it! Their older ones are better though but this new one is really good to :P

  • yeah. I don't like the new one. Three first albums are fucking great, fourth is a bit weaker. And then there wast this thrashed, lost & strung out or something. It was fucking horrible :D

Here's my top5 for year 2005. Many great albums, so making this list is damn hard. Also this is my first post in this group.

    1.Heralding - The Fireblade
Falkenbach's latest is the most definate #1 of 2005 and also a new personal favorite of all Falkenbach albums.
    2.Verisäkeet
Moonsorrow's Verisäkeet follows up as a good #2. More primitive sound than the earlier albums but it works really well in my opinion. Long tracks might turn one away from the album but once you start listening, you're comletely captured by the epic folk sound.
    3.Vredens tid
Yet another good album from Månegarm, and my #3 for 2005. I especially liked the Sigrblot track.
    4.Rosenrot
The first non-folk/viking metal band on my list. Catchy tunes the Rammstein way, what else you can hope for? Also Te Quiero Puta! was quite hilarious so points for that.
    5.Nord Nord Ost
Despite the fact that I just recently "found" StS, I've been hooked to it. Great folk-metal band overall.

    So, here's my two cents.

  • 1 bolt thrower : those once loyal
2 nile : Annihilation Of The Wicked
    3 hypocrisy : virus
    4 dark tranquillity : character
5 kreator : enemy of god

    Opeth - Ghost Reveries
    Arcturus - Sideshow Symphonies
    Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
    Turisas - Battle Metal
    Cryptopsy - Once Was Not
Nattefrost - Terrorist Nekronaut Pt. I
Destoyer 666 - Unchain the Wolves

There's heaps more I could include, but I don't actually own them, so I'll just leave it at that.

I'd have to say Dimmu and Nile...

I think Opeth's songs are simply too short!

    [rolls eyes] good band though.

    Patrick.

It was a brilliant album. I forgot to mention Akercocke - Words that go Unspoken, Deeds that go Undone, it was just fantastic.
