A fan group for rock band Newsboys. They come from Down Under, New Zealand and the USA and are currently one of the longest running bands in the so-called Christian music scene.

A fan group for rock band Newsboys. They come from Down Under, New Zealand and the USA and are currently one of the longest running bands in the so-called Christian music scene.

Newsboys formed in 1985 and settled to the United States two years later. Their breakthrough was in 1992 with their Steve Taylor produced smash album "Not Ashamed." Later followed such critically acclaimed efforts like "Going Public" (including hit "Shine"), "Take Me To Your Leader" and also worship-oriented records like "Adoration" (including hit "He Reigns").

Since 2005 Newsboys are signed to their own label inpop Records (co-founded and co-owned by frontman Peter Furler). On October 31, 2006, they will release their new album entitled "Go."
