Description:
CYBERPUNK radio show. Formulating a continuous stream of dark electronic music (www.wsum.org) or (www.radiocollective.org)
When: Every Friday at 11:00pm (U.S. Central Time)

The VIBE:

You abscond silently into the darkness of a rain-soaked metropolis. Neon lights flicker desperately from above, casting formless projections all around. Smoke escapes from your cigarette and merges with ghostly steam sublimating from some burning world beneath the street.

Alone you wander, embracing the solitude of advanced society and absorbing the vibes that result. You consider how your data is encoded in this concrete and steel machine, but become further distracted by the idea of how the data of this consideration is encoded in your own neuron and synapse machine. Eventually, the rain drowns your thoughts, leaving you brain dead and uncertain of your humanity. Can you feel anything?

The PROCESS:

Hello, my name is Brother B (PhD, Cognitive Vibe Science) and this is my associate Nexus 6 (PhD, Neurology. PhD, Electrical Engineering). Our research examines the synthesis of digital signals with neural stimulus in the human cognitive system. We are currently investigating the notion of injecting a representation of emotion, digitally encoded as sound, directly into the neural interface of the brain. So far, prior experiments have derived inconclusive results; it appears we need more data. Thus, we now come to you asking for help. Will you provide us with your data?

The procedure is simple really; in fact it can be broken down into four steps:
1) Every Friday at 11:00pm (Central US Standard Time), open the stream found here ( www.wsum.org ) or here ( www.radiocollective.org ) for a program entitled Neural Vibe Injection.
2) Take a seat, get comfortable, and expose your neural uplink port.
3) Dr. Nexus and I will link the vibe machine with your neural uplink port wirelessly and initialize the injection process.
4) During the process, you must let us know if you can feel anything (dial 608-265-9786).

The REALITY:

Aka this is a CYBERPUNK radio show; we play music from the following artists to create a dark, cyber city vibe (along the lines of Blade Runner):
Gridlock, Access to Arasaka, Jan Jelinek, Nebulo, R.Roo, Alva Noto, Tim Hecker, Lusine, Ulver, Bohren und Der Club of Gore, Bola, Demdike Stare, Pleq, Stendeck, Shuttle358, Vladislav Delay, Monolake, Blackfilm, and more…

Please tune-in and support the vibe.

Envision this Scenario During the Process: You abscond silently into the darkness of a rain-soaked metropolis. Neon lights flicker desperately from above, casting formless projections all around.
