My Mum is currently reading the CreateSpace copy of my novel! I'm rather nervous as I didn't do much editing and have found a whole heap of errors in it. But hopefully she will overlook those :o)

Congratulations to everyone who made it to 50k!! If you didn't, then at least you gave it your best shot. I got to 58k with mine and will continue to work on the story as it's nowhere near finished yet!

I just passed 12,000 words a short while ago. I'm nicely on target so far. I'm now into the part of my story that I don't really have a plan for. I did a lot of outlining of the beginning and made plenty of notes about what the society is like that my characters live in, but I have very little idea where the plot is going to go from here. I'm pretty much just going to let my characters surprise me!
