Just because you don't like my taste in music, doesn't mean it's bad. It's just different.

> sub⋅jec⋅tive [suhb-jek-tiv]: influenced by personal opinion.

Just because you don't like my taste in music, doesn't mean it's bad. It's just different. Stop telling me my music is terrible. Stop telling me this band is terrible. Your definition of terrible is different from mine. There are no defined terms in music, as it is an art.

Just because you don't like how that artist painted that picture, it doesn't mean it's horrible, and should be burned. Likewise, stay out of my headphones. What I listen to is my personal choice. Thank you.

What is quality? technique? The music is felt and enjoyed, not fit parameters and technique.Reducirlo a eso mata el arte. Completely agree whit Jewrusalem, I add: life is a subjective experience itself. Sorry for the English translation of Google traductor.

Fags. Taste is not subjective as long as quality isn't. Considering there's bad and good music, the ones who listen to good music have an objectively better taste, simple as that

Quality is not objective. There is no grand governing body who dictates which vibrations are more pleasing to the human ear in general. If you think quality is objective in the arts then you have some growing up to do. Reception to the arts is entirely subjective.

Aerosmithfan`s comment made me laugh... Why can`t we just admit that he is trolling (if you can`t see it clearly), but nice point of view by the way.

neue_regel_: So you mean there is OBJECTIVITY as to what is relevant artistic display? If your brain likes the sonar experience - the artistic display is relevant, whether it be Merzbow, Gaga or anything else.

Of course one's taste is SUBJECTIVE but a Top-10 with artists here like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Daft Punk, Muse, Radiohead, Florence + the Machine, Lady Gaga, Paramore, Coldplay, The Beatles etc. present a shallow relevance to Music as an Artistic display and a cultural aspect.
