This group is for people who are relentless in their for the most disturbing, life-denying, bleak, nightmarish, ominous, abysmal, demonic and terrifying music ever released on record!

Sometimes a picture speaks much louder than words and I think this picture sums up the kind of music you'll find in this group.

I'm not going to just accept any band and I'm certainly not going to accept every single metal, industrial and noise band you might throw at me either. I want music that actually fills people with something that's completely the opposite of "good", or at least something that's far more disquieting.

So I'm going to start this group off with just SWANS, seeing as they have had the greatest effect on me (even though I have a few others in mind) and I would love it if you could give me some suggestions (as I'd love to listen to the music). I have my own criteria for those I'm willing to include, but I'm happy for you to persuade me into choosing a band that doesn't scare me, especially if they've sufficiently scared you. I would like this to be a collaborative effort, so I'm not going to add too many of my own suggestions at the moment.

The bands you suggest don't have to be loud or vicious, but they have to be genuinely and overpoweringly terrifying, bleak, hellish, nihilistic or just scary in some way.

Oh, and i'd also suggest listening to the new My Chemical Romance album. The musical themes aren't there, but if it doesn't make you feel like the most nihilistic motherfucker in the world, and want to run a hot knife along the length of some cunts throat watching their gullet spill out over your shoes, breathing fire and pissing black smoke from your rotten shirveled cock while systematically mutilating every last member of the human race smoking heroin from the archaic skull of an evil voodoo witchdoctors shrunken head...I don't know what will.
