    Modest Mouse? That's not post-punk..?

There's also two albums I'm not sure about...
Hüsker Dü - Zen Arcade, could you say parts of it is Post-Punk? Or would you call it more something like Alternative Rock?

Also, if anyone has heard Lydia Lunch - Shotgun Wedding, what to categorize that as? I feel it's something around Post-Punk, but also maybe Grunge?

  • hey, if Buzzcocks are Post-Punk, im going to have to adjust me list.
and id DEVO are Post-Punk i'll have to adjust my new wave list.

  • DEVO are both Post-Punk and New Wave (and Electro-Pop, and crap if you count all their albums).

A Different Kind of Tension is more Post-Punk than Punk I'd say.

Zen Arcade is somewhere between Hardcore and Alternative Rock. (or simply filed under SST-Band)

    And Lydia Lunch is Post-Punk.

  • Alway a difficult style, post-punk, but these are post-punk according to me:

1 The Soft Boys - Underwater Moonlight
2 The Chills - Kaleidoscope World
3 The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms
    4 Television - Marquee Moon
5 The Gun Club - Fire of Love
6 Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance
7 TC Matic - TC Matic
8 Television Personalities - ...and don't the kids just love it
9 De Div - In Front
    10 Tom Verlaine - Flashlight
11 Richard Hell & the Voidoids - Blank Generation
12 Swell Maps - A Trip To Marineville
13 Josef K - The Only Fun in Town
14 Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
15 The Psychedelic Furs - The Psychedelic Furs
    16 Wire - Pink Flag
17 Bauhaus - In the Flat Field
    18 Virgin Prunes - If I Die, I Die
19 Gang of Four - Entertainment!
    20 The Pop Group - Y
    21 Suicide - Suicide
22 Public Image Ltd. - Metal Box
23 The Soft Boys - A Can Of Bees
24 Minimal Compact - Deadly Weapons
25 Bram Tchaikovsky - Strange Man, Changed Man
