Haha, I was asking if anyone would be nice enough to share Ocean Rain, but I edited it out coz Ferris_Bueller was kind enough to send it to me. I wouldn't want to keep the request coz someone may upload it again for me even though I already have it. :P

    afternoon ladies and gents

    read http://www.last.fm/user/tomstar7/journal/2007/10/13/548287/
and any ideas, comment on the journal :D

  • I got into Nine Inch Nails recently. Which album will be a good to begin with besides Year Zero?

  • the Broken & Fixed EPs. i got (i spent like 30 quid on it actually) that NIN live DVD a few years ago (then took it back cause it was 1 gig over two discs with little extras) and he was still playing near every track from that cd.

i bloody LOVE Pretty Hate Machine (his first), but it aint a lot like the rest of his stuff.

and my fav is Things Falling Apart, a remix album, of The Fragile i think (which is bloody amazing too, but a bit arty in bits (not in a bad way at all - i love it - just in a 'to begin with' way - also its not super-typical of his work either)).

The Downward Spiral and Fragile are considered the most 'classic' NIN albums so I think you should get them.

  • I thought the best thing bout The Fragile was the Pitchfork review.
(yeah yeah, Pitchfork sucks - most of the time)

  • of montreal

hi there, could anyone recommend/give a bit of info on where to start with of montreal? thanks! x cX*

    of montreal

  • of Montreal

from what i have heard they are all the same except the newest cd, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?, which imo is their best. id recommend The Gay Parade as being the best place to start, as its their best of their 'main' sound, and earliest of their classics.
(rym users have rated Aldhils Arboretum lowest, but having heard it in the last few weeks it is my third favourite, after the two i have already mentioned.

    i love of Montreal!

  • The Sunlandic Twins.

  • The Sunlandic Twins is a great album.

  • Looking for a starting point for the following two bands:

    Feeder
    Cooper Temple Clause

    TIA

  • The best place to start with the Cooper Temple Clause is their first album, See This Through And Leave. If you can't find that one, Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose is also a good choice.

  • This probably isn't the right place to ask, but is it possible for anyone to upload Slint - "Tweez" in RAR format?
