I was given Absolution as a present and told to listen to Time is Running Out. I listened to it, thought it was sh*t (I still do) and then didn't hear another Muse song until I found that I had the song 'Muscle Museum' on my computer (don't know how! xD) I listened to that, fell in love, and gave Absolution another spin... the end.

    Was hooked ever since! ^^

"May your sickness disappear like turkeys do in Christmas" - Tensor
  • A friend sended me the songs Showbiz and Stockholm Syndrom. I really liked these songs. From then on i kept listening.

  • Playing Guitar hero I listen Knights Of Cydonia...

    and thats an amaziiiing song....=D

  • Heard "Bliss" on some TV spot for Super Mario Galaxy. lol

"Sickness some are still in doubt of it's existence
Some call it forgiveness and some call it the vengeance
Some say it's an exit and some say it's an entrance" - Lupe Fiasco
  • watchin MTV...and then they put "Knights of Cydonia". Amazing, isn't it? after some numbers, I discovered that I find a nice band once a year watchin MTV hahaha

  • my friend was a massive fan and played either feeling good or time is running out (cant really remember) and at first i was like "meh... theyre alright" and then a year later for some random reason i just fell in love. my friend played m,illions of their songs so it wasn't like a certain song set me off just out of no where and im so happy i did =D

  • i was reading the acknowledgements in the back of new moon by stephenie meyer and i saw that she mentioned muse a bunch so i decided 2 check it out and i fell in love with the band! the first song i listened 2 was time is running out. im still working on getting their other albums but ive got the single time is running out and their black holes and revelations cd which is incredible! i also love the song hysteria!!!

  • first i heard starlight on the radio. somehow i liked it, but i didn't know it was muse. i didn't really care...well, as i said, it was on the radio. ;)
some months later, my friend told me to watch their wembley-dvd cause she rediscovered muse and thought i'd love them as well. and yeah, i fell in love immediately. :)

'Cause every single day strengthens my longing for the faraway.
  • i know muse since 1999, i heard them by my brother and i love them :]

  • Good ol Guitar Hero 3. I was like, "Knights of Cydonia is really good." Then I downloaded songs bit by bit.

  • I first heard Muse I believe when I was in the 8th grade and switching through channels. I had never seen MTV or MuchMusic. I think the furthest I'd gone in listening to rock music was The Beatles, I didn't even know that other branches like Alternative or Prog Rock existed. So I stumbled across the 'Time is Running Out' on MuchMusic (now known as Fuse) which became the first rock music video I ever saw. I was so amazed...that was in '04 and they are still my favorite band.

I don't believe BHaR is as amazing as Origin/Showbiz/Absolution

    Resistance is Futile. 09/14/09

And I wait impatiently, and I wait for the sign.
  • guitar hero 3 aswell. listened to knights of cydonia, then i searched muse on sad steve(a free music site) listened to their songs, and realised they had a LOT of good songs, and i got more and more, and now they're my favorite band!

Actually I was introduced on Guitar Hero 3, just as many of you other guys.. Just couldnt complete that freaking song! Knights of Cydonia - "CRAP SONG" I thought and just threw my guitar away. A few months/years later I was watching this movie "Twilight" And I just got trapped by that song... Supermassive Black Hole... I was like "OMG" And then I'm stucked in their WORLD...
    MUSE FOREVER!

  • I don't exactly remember HOW I was introduced to Muse, but I think I was listening to the radio and heard this song...it was absolutley AMAZING!!! It had emotion and when it went off I had to know who it was!! So I called the radio station and they told me the band was called Muse and the song was called Knights of Cydonia. After that, Muse has been on my Top 5 ever since...I'm thinkin' Absolution is my favy so far though...

  • Like most bands from my charts, i heard them in a movie (not twilight! <_<), it was New Born.

i heard Time Is Running Out on the radio when it came out and fell in love. i bought all their albums a while after and listened to them for a month straight and since then they've been my favorite band.

  • I found them on my own.

  • I was watching a video on youtube about some game, and i heard, like, the first five seconds of "Newborn". I downloaded it right away and fell in love too, thank you internet xD

  • Its been only since monday afternoon, and now its saturday... I asked my friend ThomasMusefan who is obviously a fan, lol, which album i should start with, since i never heard anything of them before. He recommended me to start with Showbiz, and then i discovered this godly voice singing Unintended!!! Wow, i just had to play it like.... 30 times right away! So i have the other albums now as well and i am really happy i found this music <3

... yes I really really like the song High Hopes
