If you also think it's a shame that the use of ampersands (&) in band names seems to be discouraged, come mourn with us.

This is a group for all Last.FM-users out there who understand that the use of the ampersand in band names and songs has its disadvantages, but who are nevertheless sad to see its elegant shape slowly getting exterminated from the Last.FM archives.

If you're not mourning, but just adore &'s great shape, why not consider joining '&', the more positive sister group to this one.

P.S. Feel free to suggest artists that should be remembered in their &-state.

Fortunately I was proven wrong; Last.fm doesn't seem to be getting rid of the ampersand. This kind of makes this group redundant. So because I'd rather be happy about &'s existence instead of sad about its apparent pending doom, because I can't rename this group and don't want to offend any of those who'd prefer to continue the mourning, I've started a new group: '&' and have taken the liberty of copying the artists, associated with this group, there.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: i gave into the "and" in Belle and Sebastian. i used to have everything labeled "Belle & Sebastian" but they tried merging the two a few weeks a go and then "de-merged" it, unfortunately, it messed everything up. I made a iTunes playlist with all of my plays for them 1400+ to be exact and let it play on an older iPod for 4 days labeled as "Belle and Sebastian" i made sure that the scobbler identified the plays and then deleted all the ampersand plays from my library :'( that's why if anyone looks at my recent charts i have 1400 plays for Belle & Sebastian over the past 7 days, 3 months etc... (i feel like an untrue listener for this but it was last.fm's fault.....
