This is a group about a revolutionary Synthesizer and a pioneer. About changing the face of music and technology itself. It's about the legend and the man. The Moog Synthesizer and Dr. Bob Moog. The inventor was responsible for many succesful designs and ideas, such as controlling the oscillators with a piano-like keyboard and adding filters and volume envelope to the oscillators, which are the staples of subtractive synthesis, the most widely know and used synthesis method and probably the only widely-useable until the mid-eighties. His projects include (but are not limited to) the Moog Modular series, the Minimoog, Moogerfooger guitar pedal series and his last design: the Little Phatty (launched in 2006).
