  • Albums That Would Have Been Better if Mike Patton Sang Them

Any album in particular that you hear and come to the conclusion that it would be a lot better if god himself, MIke Patton, lent his amazing vocal chords?

I've been listening to "Chinese Democracy" lately and a few of those songs I can hear it with Mike Patton rather easily. "If the World" would be simply phenomenal if Mike Patton were singing it.

    Any one else?

  • What do you think about "Fergalicious" or how do you spell this shit

better not point that at me, it might be loade....

Faith No More - "Introduce Yourself" :-p

Ich hoffe, ich konnte mich verständlich machen, ohne zu deutlich zu werden.
  • The Beatles - Yellow Submarine
    let the hilarity ensue

  • I don't necessarily know about better, but i'd really like to hear Mike re-interpret a few old favourite songs-

The Mercy Seat - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Banned In DC - Bad Brains
    Boogie Street - Leonard Cohen
What's Going On? - Marvin Gaye
    Suggestion - Fugazi
When You're Smiling - Louis Armstrong
Nervous Breakdown - Black Flag (he did Six Pack on the Rise Above benefit, but I think Nervous Breakdown or Fix Me is much better suited to his vocal abilities)
Do What You Gotta Do - Nina Simone

And, for hilarities sake: Journey - Don't Stop Believing

    :D

    A short fuse to scatter
Steady hands if I forget to remember

    That better lives have
    Been lived in the margins

    Locked in the prisons
    And lost on the gallows

Than have ever been enshrined in palaces
  • Near enough any album ever.

  • Justin Timberlakes first solo album

  • Any album that does not have Mike Patton on it.

All old pop songs! Just listen to all the Mr. Bungle covers out there, they're fantastic.

  • I would love to hear him singing some System of A Down and of course try te re-esablish the relationship with Dillinger Escape Plan!
I also wanna hear him do some death metal! I rarely hear him do growls haha

  • anything from slipknot, korn, system of a down, or incubus.

And yeah... I would really like to see Mike sing with Hyrde from Stam1na. In Finnish!

  • that fuck you right back song by frankee. would be amazingly hilarious.

  • I'd like to hear him do some jazz standards, sinatra type stuff but w/ a Mr. Bungle-esque instrumentation.

Early Faith No More, such as Introduce Yourself.

    Any Rush album

    The Beatles' White Album

Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland (Jimi would still've had to be on guitar of course)

Acid Bath: When the Kite String Pops / Paegan Terrorism Tactics

Fair to Midland: Fabels From a Mayfly (What I Tell You Three Times is True)

Wolfmother (haha I just say that because I've seen footage on YouTube of him making fun of that band)

A few artists like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

I would love to hear him do a cover of Patsy Cline's Three Cigarettes In An Ashtray.

  • would have love to hear mikes vocal on more Dillinger Escape Plan stuff.
Ire Works would have been ana amazing album that way.
also think mikes vocals would sound amazing on deftones albums
    especially Around The Fur
