He was pretty much on the spot with Wolfmother. But I think the point he was trying to make is that bands nowadays(mostly radio garbage)don't really strive for anything more than mediocre.

How amusing

I like early Black Sabbath, and other metal and garage stuff from the early 70's and Wolfmother are just like a composite tribute band.

"Dimension" is basically a pentatonic scale excercise with screaming.

They are still better than "Then Mooney Susuki", they make me want to kill. Or listen to Funkadelic or Zappa.

Good to see Patton as outraged by banality as ever!

Well i'll have to say that I like Wolfmother. You know that Mike is the man, but I'm gonna have to disagree with him on this one.
