  Amott is awesome but be people don't understand that Amott isn't really really responsible for the Carcass's brilliance...ok he is responsible for to a degree, but people give him to much credit(Amott quote) it's has been previously stated by the band and Amott that much of the bands sound had already taken shape before he even joined. This includes Heartwork as well as most of the record was completed before Amott even did he leads... Infact it has been stated by Jeff that Amott only contributed to a 3rd of the album rift wise. Amott in a big part of Carcass no doubt, But to many people tend to put Carcass's sound directly on the shoulders of Amott when really nothing can be further from the truth.
