Martin Solveig (real name Martin Picandet) is a French DJ, specializing in house music, born September 22, 1976 in Paris (France). In 2009, he finished 47th in the ranking of international DJ set by DJ Mag, 29th in 2012.
Younger, Martin Solveig was soprano soloist in the control of the Little Singers of Saint-Croix de Neuilly, and it Polgár Francis was the first to introduce them to music. At 18, he changed musical direction and officiates behind the decks of the Palace with his friend Claude Monnet. He goes to Hell (Redlight present) and the Queen, the baths and so on. His nickname is chosen from the French actress Solveig Dommartin.
His career took a different development on the day of the release of Heart Of Africa, his first as underground and above Edony on Africanism, commissioned by Bob Sinclar. A necessary album: On Earth is published in June 2002 and a new album Suite is launched in 2003, with the inevitable single Madan, the fruit of his collaboration with Salif Keita.

In 2011, he moved up to 29th place in the top100 djs, or 26 seats won compared to last year.
