    The best of the best

Yep, all Marillion albums are the best indeed. But some are better than the best.
    My favorites:
    1. Marbles
    2. Brave
    3. Misplaced Childhood
    4. Afraid of Sunlight
    5. Clutching at Straws

But oh, this hurts, not to mention all those other great works of Los Marillos ;-)

There's a house in your mind
An attic of treasure, a forgotten pleasure park
  • My favourite Fish-era album is Clutching At Straws. Don't have enough Hogarth-era to say yet.

  • from Hogarth's era:
    Marbles and Brave
    from Fish's era:
    Clutching at straws

  • 1. Season's End

    5. Script For A Jester's Tear

"Understanding why people do what they do. Why we cheat our friends, why we reward our enemies. Why we go to war, sacrificing our lives for lost causes. Why we build machines in the hope of correcting our flaws and our shortcomings. Why we forgive, defying logic and the laws of nature with one stupid little act of compassion. We're flawed. All of us."

Of course Script for a Jester`s Tear. It was the first Marillon`s album i`ve heard and the best i think.

But the rest albums made with Fish are also great. And Brave.

"Fugazi" is my favourite of Fish's era. Talking Hogarth I have to go with "Brave".

"Misplaced Childhood" is my favourite but I like all albums made with Fish. The old Marillion is better.

From Hogarth's era I like only "Anoraknophobia".

    2.Afraid of Sunlight
    5.This Strange Engine

  • 1. Marbles
    2. Afraid Of Sunlight
    3. Brave
    4. Season's End
    5. Misplaced Childhood

Wy macie rację, ale ja mam bagietkę.
  • In no order, I love them all. But my most listened to must be:

    Afraid of Sunlight
    Clutching at Straws
    Seasons End
    Hollidays in Eden

Are there any fans of the album out there? I really like that album, I also love the songs on Radiation, though the album is badly mixed and mastered the live versions on the front row club and various live albums are great, and really worth a listen even if you didnt like the album much. The two new live albums Smoke and Mirrors are excellent, check out for info.

  • Clutching at Straws and Misplaced Childhood are my all time favourites though I love all the albums during Fish's era. Hogarth's era is alright but I don't have a favourite album from his era.

    Fish rocks! ;)

    1. Clutching at Straws
    2. Marbles (2CD)
    3. Misplaced Childhood
    4. Season's End
    5. Afraid of Sunlight

These are the only Marillion albums I've heard :)

Clutching at Straws and Marbles tend to switch positions sometimes.
