  To be honest I thought the charts would be more different than they are. Maybe that says more about the kind of people who join groups like this though. I don't think these charts accurately represent your average metal fan (of either gender). I think it's silly to think that they won't be listening to different bands, though. Differences in socially defined "roles" that we grow up being surrounded by draw men and women to different music, just like white people and black people, rich people and poor people, Americans and British people, etc. etc. etc.
