Why is there so much Metalcore and Deathcore out there?
If you want to be Hardcore fine, than do so, but if you want to be Metal than start playing METAL!

First of all I want to say that I DON'T want to offend any fans of Hardcore, Crustcore, Grindcore and any other core sub-genre that is more than temporary fashion.

The point of this group is simply: Metalcore and (especially) Deathcore is annoying! Why?
Because the 99% of all metal-/deathcore songs sound just the same. Over-the-top Breakdowns seems to be everywhrere! And this Wannabe-Screaming and deadbeat behaviour are just ridiculous!

Maybe many people could say to me:" If I don't like it, than don't listen to it? "
But that is almost impossible! On every Label sampler, compilation or Magazine Frontpage you have to see Metalcore bands!

And if you talk to these wannabes (I mean metalcore-musicians or -fans) you will quickley recognize that most of them don't know what metal is about!

To my mind metal is NOT about being "cool" or "in". Metal is NOT about wearing Hip-Hop-clothes or Ed-Hardy-Stuff!
And, of course, Metal is NOT about making CORE! So (once again) if you wanna do Hardcore, feel free to do it!
BUT if you want to make music that calls itself "Death..." or "Metal...", THAN PLAY SOME F**ING METAL, DEADBEAT!

es hat das Problem wie so viele Magazine: kaum jemand kauft noch Zeitschriften und geht lieber ins Netz. Deswegen verkauft man den Platz im Magazin und auf der Beilagen-CD an Bands und Labels... wieso würden sonst Nobodies wie "Schwarzer Engel" ein so großes Feature im Legacy bekommen?

Danke Herr Wolf, entschuldigen Sie mich. Also Ihr Eintrag vor meinem hätte auch keine 1 in Deutsch gegeben. ;-) Und jetzt wieder zum Thema. :D Es wurde auch schon im Metal Hammer von einem Metalcore/Deathcore-Konzert berichtet und die haben schwer über die Optik und Gestiken der Fans aufgeregt. Also scheint es ihnen ja auch nicht so zu passen. Nur schade, dass dann "Metal"-Bands nicht ordentlich unterstützt werden. Wie gut, dass es das Legacy-Magazin noch gibt xDD

Stevie, 'Toleranz' schreibt man nur mit EINEM 'L' :-) Tolerant bin ich gegenüber charakterstarken Menschen. Jetzt darf Shasty raten, warum ich Metalcore offiziell zu entarteter Kunst ernannt habe :)

finde ich auch! ich verstehe einfach net wieso der Metal hammer deren Sänger im aktuellen heft CDs bewerten lässt! Als wenn der Ahnung von harter Musik hätte!

Caliban sind so ein Müll, nicht eine Note ist besonders. WBTBWB ist einfach nur scheiße, da fehlen mir die Worte.

JA Vor allem das! Ich hasse viele Metal Magazine dafür, dass sie einerseits Bands aus Metal-/Deathcore kritisieren aber dann Bands wie We butter the Bread with Butter, Callejon oder Caliban ohne ende zu featuren und supporten!
