  My favorite Mac OSes are 7,8,9,10.3,10.4,10.6. My favorite setup? One of the Last Power Mac G4s which could Dual-Boot OS 9 And OS 10.4 and an Acrylic Apple Cinema Display. I currently have a G4 Cube (450 MHz), iMac G4 (800 MHz) , iMac G3 (400 MHz), and an iMac C2D (2.4 GHz) 2007 Rev A. Aluminium.

  Mac user since I could use a mouse. Still have my childhood PowerMac 6200, and it still works happily. I can play original Doom on it, happy times! Snow Leopard isn't the first time Apple dropped major support for architecture though, remember the dump of Motorola processors. Then again... OS 8 on the PowerPC architecture was BY FAR the best OS of the 1990's. SL runs brilliantly on my BlackBook, much cooler than Leopard too. And faster. And all round better. I just wish i had a MacBook Pro, ol' blacky HATES high-def video... a problem considering my uni course...

  Not important. If you have C2D (you have btw..), SL will work using 64-bit technology to apps processing. SL wakes up and sleeps much faster than 10.5, have awesome Dock, and it's the and of visible changes. It's worth to buy it if you don't have an idea what to do with 30 bucks
