• New Years Resolution :D

    3 Jan 2008, 16:53 by Gibson1976

2007 was a good year for me.. but I still need some improvements :D

    10.)To Listen To More Metal
I have lately been experimenting a little bit with Metal I'm finally going back toPantera and MetallicaStrangely enough I use to only listen to Metallica, then I got sick of em and that was that.. Need some more, I need some 2nd opinons on Cowboys From Hell and some Metallica stuff worth buying..

9.)To Quit Bashing Bands in there shoutbox's
I haven't really been doing this in a while.. But I think this year I got a bit out of hand..

8.)To Quit Putting Moondance by Van Morrison back on the shelf!!!!
A MUST HAVE TO STOP! This album has been on my wants list since god knows when.. everytime I could buy it, I end up putting it back for some reason or another.. I got there Greatest Hits cd for X Mas.. I know I hate greatest hits cd's but I didn't know if I was really ready for Morrison or not.

7.)To Start Buying Led Zeppelin stuff

Your all gonna say wtf you talking about man... you got all the albums. Sure I do,but the sad thing is I pirated them :(, I want to start giving back what I took..

6.)Give More Modern Music A Shot
These are the modern bands I listen to.. not much but some

    -Black Stone Cherry(Thanks StonedRoach :D)
-Nickelback(I never listen to them anymore..
    -John Mayer

Been thinking about trying either The White Stripes or Audioslave

5.)To branch out and try some Funk/Soul Music.
Been wanting to do this for a while, but dono what to buy.

4.)To Learn More Van Halen on guitar
I can nail a couple of songs... You Really Got Me and Panama.. I can't do solos but I can nail the rhythm.. My guitar teacher can hopefully teach me some techniques. I'd kill to see Van Halen this time around, but ohh well maybe next time.

    3.)Start buying CD's online
Its a freckin pain when some cd's I have to get, and all the stores in town DO NOT HAVE THEM!!, I'd love to start online shopping, but I don't always want the I.O.U. Deals with my parents :(

    2.)To Form Another Jam Band
As much as I didn't like the first one, I'd love to form my own jam band again.. With a drummer who knows how to play his instruments and crap..

    And last but not least..

1.)To Get Tickets to a AC/DC Concert in the new year..
My parents promised tickets... since I didn't get to see Van Halen :D

My list could go on and on, but thats it

  • Should I reset my tracks?

    26 Nov 2007, 02:38 by Gibson1976

I am starting to think maybe I should, since I don't listen to nearly as much AC/DC as I use to. Just curious, what do you think? Though I don't wanna loose all my posts and journal entrys, what should I do?

I sort of want to because my charts aren't very realistic anymore, and there unorganized.

BUT I don't want to, becuase then I'll loose all my posts and journal entrys. I'm fine to keep it the way it is if you think I should
  • RANT :And You All Wonder Why The Canadian/American Dollar is Suffering

    17 Nov 2007, 00:07 by Gibson1976

First off, I'm in no fit to sound like a raciest, I don't intend on sounding like one either. If any of the following offends you, I'm sorry, its just my opinion.

What really bugs me is no not that our dollar is suffering, but WHY it is suffering. Theres only one person we can blame, and thats Bush, since he chose to go to Iraq, we all pay the price... like why do you think it cost like 117 per gallon in Canada or 3 bucks per litre in the States? Because of Iraq. Why do you think the American dollar is worth more than the Canadians? Yes thats right Iraq. Why does everything cost way more now a days, yes Iraq again.

I think its time Bush gets out of power or he is going to RUIN the American economy. I've been saying all along that if Bush doesn't pull out soon, there gonna have a problem, look at today... I actually agree with what The Dixie Chicks had to say about Bush. Though I know it was wrong, there partly right.

Honestly, the americans could have been out much sooner. Like it could have been more like a year, get the terriosts and get the hell out. Like how the fuck do you expect them to find Bin Laden, he could be ANYWHERE!!!!!

There finally realizing that you can't stop Iraqs problems.... wow took 7 years to find that out... wow

Honestly to face the truth, were getting our asses kicked by the Iraq people. Like honestly if we (as in Canada and the US and so on...) were winning, we would have been gone by now.

There never ever going to find Bin Laden, never so maybe instead of 2009, bring them home NOW!

Now before I'd end this rant off, I'd like to thank the veterans of all countrys who may happen to be reading this, if it weren't for you, we wouldn't be where we are today... in the middle of Chaos.

So to conclude this journal, my overral point is that the suffering of the dollar, the war and such is all to blame on George Bush and his decision to go to Iraq, thanks alot asshole, you made everyone pay the price. unless otherwise stated.

Thanks all for reading! Feel free to add anything in.
