  Ear X-tacy deservedly earned a great reputation for themselves in the '90s--and they're still a fine store--but their selection of music isn't nearly as big as it was five years ago. Downloading has really hurt brick-and-mortar stores. If you don't mind buying used CDs, Better Days Records that just re-opened on Bardstown Rd. has a larger selection of '70s, '80s and '90s CDs and some newer ones too.
