  What can I say about Living Sacrifice? These guys seem to be so unknown these days, but they singlehandedly brought back the death metal roots of the earlier 80s and harnessed them into their own sound mixed with Christian overtones that has blossomed into an entire genre over the last 18 years. They've helped numerous outstanding bands get their foot in the door. They are roots.
