About Me

I grew up in the U.K. in a place called Kent with my family in a small village pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Mostly farmland, dirt track roads, lots of trees. I was quite a tomboy, I had a huge quad dirt bike that I would ride all around. I wore my brothers clothes and we’d play in the woods looking for bugs and all that stuff. Aside from that, my brother and I have always been involved in art and music. Our mother was an incredible artist and very good pianist. She loved jazz music and would always sing and play, which really inspired us at a young age.

My parents had a karaoke machine, they’d have their friends over and sing for fun. I would always get up and sing this ‘Abba song (haha) but as I got older I got into Motown, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. Around the age of 12 my dad realized that I had a pretty good voice so he entered me into competitions. I also performed at charity events and festivals, all helping me gain confidence in my singing.

Soon after I teamed up with my friend Tessa who was also a singer. At 14, we were singing in pubs and bars making up to 200 pounds a night for our duo act. For two years we continued to perform together then we entered the U.K. show ‘X FACTOR’. We made it through to the final 12 in the groups section of the competition before getting sent home. After that Tessa and I went our separate ways. I continued to sing at pubs and bars alone until I got a call from someone I had met at X factor. Informing me about an audition, “the creators of the Pussycat Dolls are making a new group”. So I went along and performed in front of Jimmy Iovine, Robin Antin and others from the record label.

I made it through a few more auditions then myself and 6 other girls were selected to fly out to L.A. for further call backs. I waited for about a month then received a call saying I had made it into the group! So at 17 I packed my bags and moved out to L.A. to be a part of the Paradiso Girls. We have been together for a long time now. We are a family and I’m very grateful to be a part of the group. When I first came to L.A I didn’t know anyone, so when I wasn’t working with the group I had a lot of free time. I loved art in school and I had always been pretty good at painting. So I went to the art store a grabbed a bunch of paints and canvases and just painted to keep myself occupied.

Further down the line I got into fashion design and photography. They’re just hobbies that I love to do, so for now I’m just going keep learning and discovering new things that i hope to eventually incorporate into my music career!

Thank you everyone for supporting myself and the Paradiso Girls. I appreciate it very much, and thanks for visiting my website.
