  I think it did use basic log in and now all apps must use OAuth. They turned off any other app access on August 31st. Unless they can change lasttweet to use OAuth where you have to sign in to your twitter and give permission for it to connect its gonna be dead forever :(

  What's odd is that when I generate the code on the LastTweet site, it finds my latest tweet, but when I paste the code on last.fm, it gives the fail message.
