    [bug] track submitted twice

When slacker plays following tracks of the same artist (wich happens quite often when you skip), last.tracker submits the first one, and the resubmit it instead of the new one. Not sure it happens every time, but I've experienced it several times.
    Thanks.

Well, it's probably not related with playing tracks of the same artist nor skipping. Actually last.tracker submitted 3 times the same track instead of the good ones and they were not related :(

  • Does this only happen after skipping/banning tracks?

Seems that happens while skipping or maybe changing station.
    Thanks.

  • Ok, thanks for the info; I'll try to reproduce and fix the problem ASAP.

  • I haven't had any luck reproducing this yet in IE or Firefox. Are you using Safari by any chance?

If you happen to remember exactly what you did next time it happens, that would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

Well, I only had that bug twice again last week. I noticed some timeout errors before it happened, maybe it's related.

Actually I'm not using safari, but Camino or Firefox on MacOSX Tiger.
Since I'm connecting through hotspot shield VPN, it may have some kind of incidence though.

I'll try to find if there's something in the browser's log next time.

  • damn double posts

(((***** Don't judge a book by it's cover, judge it by it's content inside. *****)))
  • i'm getting a lot of multiple posts (so far 4 of the same song) and i don't really see anything triggering it. no two songs by same artist, i'm running firefox version 2, not favoriting or blocking anything...

    just a run-of-the-mill bug?
