iPhone app background scrobbling

 
  • When you listen to music on your iphone and then connect it to itunes on your computer, can the last.fm scrobbler scrobble the music you've listened to on your phone?

    So the app Rexly, a social music player, does scrobble to Last.fm in real-time, so no syncing. It's a social music app, and does many other things, but this is one thing it does well.

  • Seriously, why isn't there background scrobbling? iScrob, iScrobble, and Rexly all do it. I know it means adding media player functionality into the app, but right now it's pretty useless on its own.
