Quality of stream over 3G

Quality of stream over 3G

I love last.fm but the audio quality of the last.fm iphone app over 3G is horrible. Both Pandora and Slacker radio are somehow able to stream in high quality so why can't the last.fm app do that same? I am not expecting CD quality sound but I would just like it to be listenable. Is there anyway to change the quality of the stream?

I was just playing around with the phone and clicked the Settings app and saw that I could change the last.fm quality there. That was unexpected since I would think that the settings for the app would be in the app itself.
