    Error 4

I got error 4 in the new Spotify beta then last.fm app tries to load recent tracks. What´s wrong?

  • Error

I have the same problem. I hope they will fix it.

  • This is an authentication error. If you've changed your password for Last.fm, make sure you've entered the correct one. :)

Alternatively, try logging out of the app, and logging in again.

I have the same error. Also still after logging out and back in again.

My guess is that its connected to the other problem with no recomendations.

  • Me too... tried login out and still same error.

  • Currently if you have your Recent Tracks display in Last.fm set to private, our Spotify app will be unable to load your recent tracks.

If you see this error, please go to your privacy controls and under the heading Real-time data uncheck the 'Hide real-time listening information' box. Refresh the app or restart Spotify and your tracks should appear again.

If this doesn't work, then yes, it's a different problem which we'll need to investigate. However, please try this step first so we can rule it out.
