Last Agent
A music tracker (not a scrobbler) for Linux that provides some of the missing functionality of the official client on local music. It allows you to love, tag or share the currently playing track, or add it to a Last.fm playlist, and more... All through a nice, neat and clean interface.

Download a package for your distro from: http://lastagent.googlecode.com
Dependencies are: python, python-gtk2, pylast, python-sexy and python-dbus.

Last Agent if frikkin' brilliant, and the options under "Tag" are even more brillianterest! Dang, thank you! (working fine with Amarok on Ubuntu Hardly Herring 8.04)

I've been using this for a couple of months now and thought it was time to say thank you for this lovely piece of software! Amarok's Last.fm integration is pretty damn good but for some bizarre reason it doesn't include the features offered by Last Agent so I was well pleased to discover Last Agent!!

Last Agent is not a scrobbler. scrobbling should be implemented natively in your player or through a plug-in.

Hi...Well i have this doubt...If Last Agent is scrobbling my songs (using Audacious), can i unload my Scrobbling Plugin from Audacious? since Last Agent does this job...well i dont know exactly if im right or not....thanks in advance ;)

not sure, haven't tested it myself on kde. try clicking the notification area icon, it toggles the visibility of the main window.
