  • Poll: Make Artist Connections w/ Artist JoCo Plays With Frequently?

    Hey there,

I was wondering if you all thought it wise to add artists that JoCo plays with frequently to the Artist Connections box. You know, people like Paul and Storm and such. It would be beneficial to us in that we can be like "dude, who were those guys who opened for JoCo when he played in Vienna?" and it would also give those artists greater exposure.

So what do you think? Yay or nay?

  • I vote Yay!

  • Thumbs up. Then they get some attention, too, and we can check them out. After all, if we like JoCo, we'll probably like them, too.

Mathematicians are like Frenchmen: whatever you say to them, they translate it into their own language, and forthwith it means something entirely different. -- Goethe
  • Okey dokey. So what artists should we make connections with? I definitely want to do Paul & Storm, seeing as I'm the leader of their Last.FM group and I'm having a hard time getting members for it.

  • Make Artist Connections with JoCo's influences?

His myspace lists some influences of his, should they be added? Also for those who don't want to check what they are: The Might Be Giants, Loudon Wainwright III, Jason Falkner, The Beatles, Billy Joel, The Beach Boys, Ben Folds, Fountains Of Wayne, OK Go, Neil Finn, Simon & Garfunkel, Jim Boggia, Steely Dan and XTC.

And considering that They Might Be Giants, The Beatles and Ben Folds are all in the top 25 artists for this group (at the moment at least) I doubt that many people would object them at least (but if you do then say so).
