  Наконец-то появился еще один композитор, которого я смело могу поставить в один ряд с такими китами, как Robert Miles, Moby и BT (а может, даже и выше) - Jon Hopkins!!! Гений, чей вклад в сложную электронно-нео-классическую музыку сложно переоценить. От его шедевров у меня, регулярно и с наслаждением, мурашки - по коже и по коре головного мозга. Наслаждаюсь им вот уже четвертую неделю, не могу оторваться, да и не хочу ))) Не знаю, получится ли, как с Майлзом, но у меня, как в старые добрые времена, ощущение, что эту музыку мне никогда не разонравится слушать )))

  hooked up on this guy for 'light through the veins' -which, believe it or not, I didn't know was on Coldplay's 'life in technicolor' release version- simply enjoy his vibe!

  I had the please of seeing him last night in SF and was just floored and blown away! It was just incredible. Easily one of the best electronic shows I have seen in ages. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole set. Four Tet was also playing and I enjoyed him as well, but not even remotely close to Jon Hopkins. Just great... does anyone know if any recordings of his live sets exist?

  I'm crushed - I live in the US, and I can't make a UK iTunes account! Is there any chance that anyone could upload this on sendspace or [spam] I will undoubtedly buy this once it comes out, but waiting 3 months is torture I cannot stand.

  Loving the new album now. At first I thought it mught be a bit too glitchy for my liking, but Jon's brilliant melodies and beats shine through. One of my favourite albums of the year that's for sure.

  Just 2 more members :) How's everyone liking his new album so far ? At first I thought it might had been an error from iTunes, releasing his album by mistake. But glad to hear it's officially endorsed by Jon himself... I for one am simply loving his new album, the tracks are amazing, every single one !! Btw Cap, good job on opening this group, I think its silly Jon didn't have a group before, since there are so many good people here on Last.fm who listen to his eargasmic tunes. Hopkins for life !!
