  My musical preference is 48.09% similar to the john peel group. Musically, I do not fit in ... Probably because I'd rather connect Bogshed or Deep Turtle to John Peel than Beatles or Blur.

  I didn't always agree with the music tastes of Peel, but you had to admire his passion for music and his willingness to give any artist a chance. He is sorely missed - especially when you consider that we have to deal with the likes of Zane Lowe and Jo Wiley on Radio 1 nowadays.
