  hey group! i used to play bass for the UKs top Who tribute band - Who's Who. The pleasure was all mine - to study Johns bass parts, and play them every night for 3 years was a real honour... and then some! I even had the opportunity to meet him in London 2000, while he was opening a gallery showing previously unseen photos of The Who. When I told him what I was up to, ie; "Hello John, I play bass for Who's Who" he replied quite in his gruff voice, "Can't you think of anything better to do!". What a legend. namssab
